Florian Loloum
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
With over 20 years in the Asia-Pacific region, Florian has experience in most of the verticals within the living sector (social/affordable housing, PBSA and residential) across greenfield developments, value adds and asset acquisitions.
He was a board member of an Asian familyoffice and was involved in the family’s real estate developments (1,000+ units) and investments (equity and debt) in the UK and Australia.
He ran a global brokerage firm’s institutional arm providing advisory services on venture capital, private equity and real estate investments to family offices, private equity investors, asset managers and pension funds.
He holds a Global BBA from ESSEC, a certificate from MIT in Commercial Real Estate Analysis and Investment and a dual Executive MBA from Tsinghua University and INSEAD.

Usman Mughal
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Usman is a founding partner of Space IM and is the head of Space IM’s London office.
He was formerly a member of the investment origination and structuring team at a prominent private equity backed developer. Prior to that, he worked in a boutique debt fund underwriting investments across the real estate, aircraft and trade finance sectors. He has underwritten and structured more than $500 million of asset backed transactions.
Usman holds a BSc in Investment and Finance Risk Management from Bayes (formerly Cass) Business School and Venture Finance / Entrepreneurship from Said Business School.

Richard New
INVESTMENT ADVISOR
Richard advises Space IM on its structuring and investments.
A highly experienced senior corporate banker with 30 years experience with a vast range of experience across key areas of specialisms including financial solutions, structured finance including leverage finance, housing finance and infrastructure finance.
Expertise across all major corporate finance disciplines having run large teams in origination, portfolio management and credit risk management.

Sarah Imran
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Sarah is a partner of Space IM, and is the head of Communications & Sustainability.
Sarah has incubated and launched a series of deep-tech decarbonisation ventures across the healthcare, cleantech, energy and oil & gas sectors in collaboration with the NHS, Local Authorities and PETRONAS among other organisations. Sarah was a consultant for UNICEF on socio-legal matters and ‘Communication 4 Development’ (C4D) strategies, and was part of the UNDP team that developed the 'Malaysia SDG Investor Map' market intelligence tool, where she was the focal point for engagements with key Malaysian Ministries.
Sarah holds a First Class Honours LLB from the University of Liverpool, an MSc in International Marketing from Birkbeck University of London, a Cambridge certificate in Circular Economy & Sustainability Strategies, and an Oxford certificate in Critical Reasoning. She also pursued film-making at the Met Film School Ealing Studios and learned the Meisner Technique at the Actors Temple, London. Sarah has developed websites, produced animations and award-winning short-films, starred in musicals and plays, and has presented at high-profile webinars and conferences including Energy Asia 2023.

Jespal Deol Abdullah

Jespal is a strategic advisor to Space IM, advising on corporate strategy and business development.
Jespal has extensive expertise in venture building having achieved several notable listing on the US and UK Exchange across various sectors including nanomaterials, graphene and chemicals.
Jespal holds a LLB from the University of Queensland and has extensive M&A legal exposure.

Jason Schofield
UK DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR
Jason has over 30 years of comprehensive corporate experience both in small and large companies.
Jason provides complete understanding, experience, and appreciation of leading a large, diverse corporate, public facing business incorporating a diverse real estate portfolio including marinas, an airport, an airline, a fish market, car parks, and healthcare activities, whilst latterly fully appreciating the different challenges of operating and working in a small, privately funded SME organisation.

John Dalzell
NEW ZEALAND DEVELOPMENT ADVISOR
John Dalzell is the Managing Director and owner of Silk Road Management Ltd .
He has over 37 years of experience in property across all disciplines, ranging from technical capability in valuation, development, and investment to leadership roles in both the public and private sector at Chief Executive and Board levels.
John has successfully worked on several notable projects including Wynyard Quarter redevelopment on Auckland’s waterfront. and was involved in the merger and formation of Auckland Council’s urban regeneration agency Panuku Development. This provided the ability to add his considerable experience and expertise in urban regeneration, master planning, and placemaking to the new agencies early programme of work.

Alistair Sawer

Alistair Sawer is the founder and Group CEO of TLC Constructions, a company based in Vietnam.
Founded 25 years ago, TLC originally supplied services to industrial, oil and gas services and construction industries. It has been operating in Vietnam since 1995. Since Alistair founded the company, TLC has accumulated experience across a wide range of construction sectors. From this experience he saw the opportunity and potential for TLC modular construction, combining his experience with Vietnam's global advantage in manufacturing and engineering.
